Abstract: A study was conducted on the effects of phosphorus fertilization on the seedling growth and physiological traits of five different flue-cured tobacco genotypes Zhongyan101,Zhongyan100,NC89,K326 and Qingsheng No.2.The results showed that under the condition of phosphorus stress, the biological characteristics and some physiological traits of different kinds of flue-cured tobacco genotypes presented distinct changes, and the genotypic variation in response to phosphorus stress was also observed.Compared with other varieties,K326 was least affected by phosphorus stress, indicating that it was good at enduring the phosphorus deficiency. The other four genotypes had poorer adaptability to phosphorus stress and should be supplied more phosphorus to meet their demands of growth.
