Abstract: The expression of VHA-c genes was detected in Arabidopsis thaliana leaf under abiotic stresses conditions. Results suggested that all VHA-c genes were involved in salt stress;mRNA levels of VHA-c2,VHA-c4 and VHAc5 were enhanced under water stress;VHA-c1,VHA-c2,VHA-c3 gent and VHA-c4 were involved in ABA stress, though mRNA levels of VHA-c1 and VHA-c3 were enhanced in response to early ABA stress.

Key words: V-ATPase, c subunit, VHA-c genes, Abiotic stresses
