Research on Content of Pentosan in Wheat Grain in Different Ecological Environment

Abstract

Abstract: The content of pentosan, protein and thousand grain w eight , y ield of 8 w heat variet ies w ere determined in different ecolog ical environment of Henan during 1999-2000. Ecological environment w as important factor for pentosan content , protein content , thousand grain weig ht and yield in w heat . Varieties factor w as not neglig ent for w heat quality. According to pentosan content, protein content and yield, Yumai No. 34 was a good variety .
