Modification for Path Analysis Method of Crop Yieldvs Yield Components and Other Traits

Abstract

Abstract: It is pointed out in this paper that some problems exist in many other works concerning the crop yield components and the path analysis method.It is also put forwardthat the correct conclusion can be obtained only when the path analysis method is conformedto the biological laws,otherwhise,a incorrect result violating the biological laws will beobtained.The result also shows that the yield is decided by the yield components and thedetermination degree by the yield components ought to be in the theory.The yield components are the traits having direct effect on the yield and the other traits are ones havingindirect effect on the yield.
