Abstract: The seed of maize had been irradiated with different doses(0-30KR) of 80Coγ-Ray before sown. The experiment indicated that the inhibition on growth of maize seedlings was strengthened considerably as the, doses of irradiation increased. The peroxidase isozyrnes assay indicated as follows. Being irradiated with different doses of 60Coγ-Ray, a-new cathode band in zymograme of blades appeared. Meanwhile, being irradiated with large doses(25-30KR), three bands of enzymatic-activity were strengthened obviously. And, anodic isozyme zyrnograms of blades were induced to bear two bands in zymograme while being irradiated with large dose of 30KR. Being irradiated with the doses of 5-25KR, a cathode band in zymograme of the plumular oxises increased, but it disapeared while being irradiated with the dose of 30KR. Meanwhile, as the irradiating doses increased within the range of 15-30KR, a band of enzymatic activity was clearly weakened.According to above, being irradiated with 80Coγ-Ray, the seedlings transformed, in both morphogenesis structure and molecular level, but it seems that there is no full relativity between them.
