Abstract: In order to conduct the expansionary effect of Inonotus obliquus fermentation products on growth and immune performance of chicken, different concentrations of fermentation products were added in basal diet.Growth parameters, including average daily gain and feed conversion ratio, immune organ index and non-specific immune parameters such as total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC),superoxide dismutase(SOD) and lysozyme(LSZ) of all groups at different time points were compared and analyzed. The results showed that,at the concentration of 0.8%,fermentation product of Inonotus obliquus could raise average daily gain and downregulate feed conversion ratio compared with negative control effectively;Every concentration of fermentation products could make the development of chicken immune organs and as the concentration at 0.8%-2.0%,the index of thymus, spleen and bursal were higher than Astragalus polysaccharide used as positive control at both day 21 and 42;Moreover,non-specific immune function was enhanced by Inonotus obliquus fermentation products, and the changes was significantly(P <0.05) compared with negative and positive control at the concentration of 0.8%.Results showed growth and partial immune parameters of chicken were promoted effectively by Inonotus obliquus fermentation products and the optimum concentration was 0.8% whose effect overall superior to Astragalus polysaccharide. These finding provide a candidate for the development of green new drugs for avian.
