Abstract: Crossed between the G. hirsutum line Ji155 that was susceptible to herbicide and the high resistant selfing line K24-D,then identified the herbicide resistance of parents,F1 generation and F2 generation in the field.Investigation and statistic of the resistant performance of the parents,F1 generation and F2 generation were used for analyses on the inheritance of herbicide resistance of this germplasm resource. The results showed that herbicide resistance was controlled by a dominant gene. This resistant trait belongs to the quality genetic,so it is easy to be used for cotton breeding. And it is high resistance level that reach to 800 mg /kg 2,4-Dichlorophenoxy acetic acid. Antiherbicide trait exhibited important utilization value to cotton breeding and hybrid cotton production.
