Abstract: Wheat substitution lines between Chinese Spring and Synthetic 6x under the treatments of phosphorus deficiency stress and phosphorus normal(control) in different developing stages were studied to research the effect of phosphorus deficiency stress on chlorophyll content and corticoid cntent and locate the gene controlling chlorophyll content and corticoid content. The results showed that chlorophyll content and corticoid content reduced under phosphorus deficiency stress in different developing stages; The genes promoting chlorophyll content might be located on 2A,1B,7B chromosome of Synthetic 6x,and that the genes promoting corticoid content might be located on 2A,3A, 7B,6D chromosome.

Key words: Substitution lines, P-deficiency, Chlorophyll content, Corticoid content, Chromosome effect
