Abstract: The field experiment was carried out to study changes in soil moisture and production in spring wheat under permanent raised bed (PRB). Results showed that soil moisture under PRB was higher in 0 -30 cm layer ;in 30 -60 cm layer, soil moisture decresed noticeably under PRB during the whole stage, declined 8.55% and showed a good supplication of water;in 60 -90 cm and 90 -120 cm layer, soil moisture under PRB was lower. It's production compares the tradition to enhance 11.25%, the water using efficiency reaches to 15.59 kg/(mm·ha)
