The Change of Major Carbohydrate in Different Flue- cured Tobacco Position Leaves

Abstract: The changes of mayor carbohydrates content in different flue-cured tobacco position leaves were analyzedand the variance analysis with starch, total sugar and reducing sugar in tobacco leaves were carried out .Leaf samples weretaken from different leaf positions and dates inHeilongjiang province. The results indicated that starch, total sugar and reducedsugar content were increased with the increasing leaf positions.With the delaying leaf harvest dates, there was notdistinct regularity in starch and reduced sugar contents. The difference of starch contents was not significant and the differenceof total sugar and reducing sugar content was significant in different leaf positions.The difference of total sugarcontents was significant in different leaf harvesting dates.
