Abstract: The investigation results showed that thousand grain weight was more important than grain number of every ear under ecoclimatic conditions of Heilonggang Catchment Area. The function of the former was two times of that of the later. There were linear function relationships of grain weight with daily mean temperature and daily range of temperature during filling period. The relationship of the amount of precipitation with the grain weight was quadratic curve function. Daily mean temperature and the ear grain number was positive logarithmic function rela-tionship. Daily sunshine time and the grain number of every ear were positive exponential function relationship. The amount of precipitation and the grain number of every ear were negative power function relationship. The temperature and the amount of precipitation were the most important e-coclimalic factors effecting the yield of summer maize.
