Abstract: Extracted silicon from rice hull ash by the initial carbon treatment, then high content, purity and effective silicon were required through the methods of alkali solution and acid out.We compared different concentra—tion Si impacted on rice seed germination.Analysis of sequences showed that within certain Si,total absorption areaof rice roots(TAAR)and active absorption area of rice roots(AAAR)were increased with the decreasing of siliconconcentration, and were appeared as silicon with decreasing concentration trend when silicon content was reduced tosome extent;Total chlorophyll content were showed similar trends under low content of silicon, more lower siliconcontent, more beneficial to the accumulation of chlorophyll.Contrasted with the treatment of silicon liquid fertilizerhas not clearly different on the rice chlorophyll and root vigor。We concluded that extracted silicon from rice huskash was reached to 8percent and dilution was from 300 to 400 times were both promoted the seed vigor,it was effective to seedgermination.
