Abstract: Effects of reagent for decrease nicotine content and elevation potassium content on the physiological properties and quality of flue-cured Tobacco leaves were studied. The results showed that sprying reagent on tobacco leaves can decrease NR and roots activities, and increase invertase activities. Reagent can increase the potassium content in B3F and C3F leaves respresivily by 21.5% and 29.6%, while can decrease the nicotine content respresivily by 28.93% and 10.43%. The amout of aroma components in reagent-treatmented plant were higher than those of control plants.27 important aroma components were quantitatively determined. Its amount in C3F and B3F leaves were higher than those of control respresivily by 15.70% and 17.98%.
