Study on New Ways of Brassica Napus L.Germplasm Enhancement

Abstract: Narrow germplasm base has been a serious problem in rape breeding at present.In the article,the ways of Brassica napus L.gennplasm enhancement is studied.Gene engineering has become one of the main ways.And with the application of gene engineering technology,a lot of new germplasm has been created,including insect-resistant,disease-resistant、high erucic acid and high oleic acid gennplasm and some new sterile lines.Traditional breeding methods,such as interspecific hybridization,resynthesis and seed irradiation remain important ways of germplasm enhancement.
