Abstract: Mx1 and Mx2 were two cytoplasmic male sterile lines which was obtained from Swedish variety of Brassica napus irradiated by gamma ray. A comparative analysis for mitochondrial DNAs ( mtDNAs) be- tween Mx1 and Mx2 and their maintainer were performed by using RAPD techniques. There were 163 primers giving amplified products in two lines. Among them 15 primers presented polymorphism. There was significant difference between Mx1 and Mx2 in RAPD amplified fragments.
