Abstract: Forty-six important inbred lines widely used in China were identified by molecular marker. It is needless to select special molecular marker for each inbred. They were distinguished from each other just by the combination of amplification products of six primers A6,C6,D2,F10,H19 and N19. It resolved the limitation of identification of maize inbred lines using special markers. The database of DNA fingerprint of each inbred was established, and made out the software of DNA fingerprint analysis for Windows 98. With the increase of the inbred number, the software will play more and more impotrant role in the inbred identification works. If the number of inbred lines and primers is respectively m and n, the relationship between m and n is 2n≥m.
