A Study on the Resistance of Different Organs of Bt-transgenic-cotton to Bollworm

Abstract: The experiment was conducted to study resistance of cotton different organs to bollworm with four domestic strains of transgenic cotton and one American variety of transgenic cotton. The result indicated that: 1. resistance to bollworm varied with different organs; 2. petals, bracts and terminal leaves have high resistance to bollworm; 3. the resistance of domestic transgenic cottons and abroad transgenic cotton was not marked difference; 4. Toxin of transgenic cotton showed remnant effect on bollworm growth.
