Types, Distribution and Predominance of Race in Puccinia helianthi Schw in Inner Mongolis

Abstract

Abstract: The samples and single-uredinal isolates were tested. The results indicated that the types of race were race 3 and race 2,within Inner Mongolia sunflower rust prevalent region and some isolates were CL₁, CL₃ and CL₄ discribed by C. J. Lambrides in 1991. Race 3 covered over all collection sites,its proportion was up to 90%, so it was predominant race in the region. The other race and isolates also were discovered in nearly all collection sites and thier proportions were much low.
