Abstract: Humification coefficients and decomposition ratio of 7 sorts of organic matter, mineralization ratio of soil organic matter have then tested. The tests were conducted through both field experiments by using the methods of sand filter tube and the analysis in the lab.Two grades of yearly input of organic fertilizer has been suggested for the organic matter balance of medium or low productive soil respectively. The studies provided the quantitative criterions for improving soil condition and proper fertilizer applications in medium and low productive soil.

Key words: Soil organic matter balance, Humification coefficient, Minerallzation of soil organic matter
