Abstract: Phenotypic correlation analysis and path analysis were carried out in 16 F1 hybrids and their 8 parents of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) for their performance of yield and other 16 characters. Significant positive correlation existed between total yield and total fruit number, fruit growth rate and average fruit weight. Significant negative correlation existed between total yield and Fusarium wilt rate. Significant positive correlation existed between early yield and early fruit number and powdery mildew index. Fruit number per plant had the greatest direct effect on total yield, stem diameter and plant hight aslo had certain effect on total yield.
