Abstract: The distribution of root systems of two apricot species was observed by the Oskamp method. The results of observation on 6 profiles showed that apricot root system distributed in the layer 10 to 90 cm below the surface, deeper than those of apple, peach, and hawthorn. The depth and range of root distribution were affected by soil texture.
