Abstract: This article compared critical point drying with natural drying in seven apricot strains(species)by the use of scanner electron microscope. The result shows that the dried pollens of the same genotype change less treated by the critical point drying compared with the natural drying. Meanwhile, the aperture and the three apical aperture distance can be observed with the critical point drying method. So. the critical point drying method is better than the natural drying method for palynology research.
