Abstract: The Ch-type male-sterility in millet is controled by two pairs of dominant genes. One is the pair of dominant sterile genes, and ' the other is the pair of dominant epistatic genes. The dominant epistatic genes can restrain the expression of the dominant sterile genes, thus restoring fertility. They are linked genes, and their crossover ratio is about 9.4%.

Key words: Millet (Setaria italica), Ch-type dominant male-sterile gene, Ch-type dominant epislatic gene, Linkage, Crossover
