Abstract

Abstract: Using diploid and tetraploid Chinese cabbages 52 different combinations of reciprocal crosses were made since 1933, Two hybrids were obtained from crosses of Shuixian Hua( 4 x) xHou 36 Gao(2x)and BP058(2x)x Shuixian Hua(4x) in 1935 and 1931 respectively, They were fundamentally stable in segregation in F,.The chromo}om: numbers were proved to be 2n=4x=40, n=2x=20, They were respectively named as Cuibao and Cuiluin 1989, Of the two hybrids, the Cuilu is more desirable to fit the purpose of breeding, They have following characteristics; esrly m}.turity，high resistance to soft rot, downy mildow aa1 vira;.Their quality is good and the yield is high (7500 kg/rnu).
