Abstract: The new soybean variety Yudon No.2 is derived from Zheng 7104? Hualudou by pedigree selection. It is characterized by stable and high yield, fine quality, wide adaptability, and resistance to diseases and lodging. This variety is sensitive to fertilizer and water but not sensitive to light and temperature. The growing period is 100-105 days. It is suitable for in-terplanting with wheat or for summer sowing. The properties of Yadou No.2 in high and stable yield, and resistance to diseases and lodging were judged by variance analysis and fussy multi-assessment using the data collected from a number of sites in one year and several years. The biological characters and the main points of cultural practices of Yudou No.2 for high yield was also studied.
