Advances on Health Care Effect and Mechanism of Characteristic Coarse Cereals on Diabetes

Abstract

Abstract: Diet care is an important basis for the treatment of diabetes,and its hypoglycemic and antidiabetes focus more attention.Special grain is the main grain crop in China,which is rich in many kinds of bioactive ingredients.In addition,there are different functions in different bioactive components and their interactions,and its hypoglycemic effect has become a research hotspot in recent years.In this paper,five kinds of characteristic coarse cereals were screened,namely Tartary buckwheat,oat,coix seed,jujube and soybean,and the hypoglycemic effects of bioactive substances in them were reviewed in order to provide theoretical basis for exploitation of characteristic coarse cereals and diet of diabetic patients.
