Sequence Analysis of Whole Genome of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus Shanxi-6 Strain

Abstract: The fifteen gene fragments of Shanxi-6 strain of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome were amplified respectively by RT-PCR, cloned into pMD18-T vector and sequenced. The genome of Shanxi-6 strain in length was 15 320 bp excluding PloyA tail, containing 9 open reading frames (ORFs), the 5'UTR in 189 bp and the 3'UTR in 150 bp. The complete genomic analysis showed that Shanxi-6 strain shared 54. 35% of nucleotide ho- mology with European genotype (LV) and shared 88. 80% homology with American genotype (VR-2332) . Shanxi- 6 strain has correlative genetic relationship and shared 97. 44%-97. 74% homology with highly pathogenic PRRSV (JXA1, HUN4, HuN, HUB1) . 30 amino acids deletion was exhibited in Nsp2 protein of Shanxi-6 strain.
