Abstract: The effects of Triclocarban on the number of microbial population and activities of the protease, polyphenoloxidase and hydrogen peroxidase in the soil were studied in this stu街.The result indicated that, after spraying the soil, low concentration of TCC 2. 5 mg/ kg activated the populations of soil bacteria and actinomyces;20. 0-70. 0 mg/ kg con-centration significantly inhibited the populations of soil bacteria and actinomyces numberfor a longer duration. TCC 2. 5-20. 0 mg/ kg in the experiment perfomrance the activation on fungal population, while TCC 40. 0-70. 0 mg/ kg performance the activation at first, then have inhabitation for a duration. At last they performance activation again. The effects ofTCC on the activities of soil protease and drogen peroxidase showed inhitition effects at first,In 21 days they have thegreatest effect and then performance the activation at last. The effects of TCC on the activities of soil hydrogen peroxideactivity showed inhibition stimulation effect.
