Abstract: With different seed-types of peanuts, some physiological traits and yield properties were researched in the course of senescence. The results showed that NR and PAL activities in leaves presented a descending trend in later stage, but the descent speeds for bigger seed types were slower than that of smaller types. The changes of AsA-POD activity decreased on a parabola trend for the bigger types:Y=-0.0492X~2+5.5791X-146.82;and on a linear trend for the smaller ones:Y=-0.553X+39.302.The MDA content ascend quickly during 60-65 days after anthesis for both types.Compared with the smaller species, the MDA content of bigger ones were reduced by 44.9% in mature stage. Finally the 100 seed weight and 100 nut weight were increased by 46.8% and 61.4% respectively. The yield were increased by 33.2%.
