Abstract: Based on field experimental data collected from 1991-1993,dry matter distribution ratio simulating models for different cotton organs were developed. Results showed that dry matter accumulation models in different organs were S shape curve, while dry matter distribution ratio were different in cotton organs. In root, fruit branch and branch leaves, the dry matter distribution ratio model is y=c+bx+ax2,in cottonstem, the model is y=axebx ,in stem leaves, the model is y =(a+b x)/x,in bud,the model is y=ae bx^2 ,and in boll, the model is Logistic function.Besides, the paper had discussed the effects of population density of cotton, which mainly affected the amount of dry matter accumulation, the effect on the dry matter distribution ratio for different organs was not significant.
