Abstract: Five main agronomic measures for sugarbeet in the open field and the film-covered field were studied in saline alkali soil of Datong Basin by using quadratic rotation design. The results indicated:1. The order of 5 factors of agronomic measures contributing to yield was amount of nitrogen applied >amount of phosphorus applied >density >amount of trace fertilizers >rate of natrogen added.2. Density x nitrogen and nitrogen x phosphorus expressed the positive interactive effects for sugarbeet yield.3. The yield of sugarbeet in the field covered with film was higher than that in the open field. Nevertheless, there was no significant difference in the benefit between the two treatments4. The mathematical models, the comprehensive cultural practices for various yield levels and optimum synthetic measures of sugarbeet could be popularized and used in similar agricultural conditions.
