Abstract: The effect of different shoot numder and training angle on yield, population structure of plant and nutrient uptake of sweet pepper ’Sakigakemidori’ were investigated in plastic film house. Total dry weight per plant and nutrient uptake increased as increasing shoot number and decreasing the training angle which resulted in the increasing of yield per plant. When the shoot number decreased and the training angle became smaller, the photosyn-thetic organ and nonphotosynthetic organ could be regulated, so the ratio of normal fruit would be increased.

Key words: Sweet pepper, Shoot number, Training angle
