Abstract: In order to reveal the molecule mechanism of rice sheath premature senescence, differential expression proteins of hybrid Weiyou916 sheath were analyzed by suing approach of plant proteomics.Rice were cultured with pure water and normal nutrient solution at late development stage. The sheath proteins were extracted from four different times respectively and investigated by 2-DE.There 8 maps were obtained and analyzed by Imagemaster 2D Elite 5.0.Software quantification showed that 27 proteins′expression abundance changed in response to nutrient stress, among which 19 proteins were identified by mass spectrometry.Functions and expression abundances of these 19 proteins were analyzed and the conclusion can be drawn from the following result: the major differential expression proteins were associated with resistance and stress response, nutrient stress led to low photosynthesis and high respiration in rice sheath, which reduced dry matter accumulation and carried sheath forward premature senescence.
