Study on Energy of Poultry in DDGS for Adult Roosters

Abstract

Abstract: The effect of metabolizable of Roosters in DDGS from Different Sources to provides the basis of nutritional value of poultry on DDGS. 45 Hyline brown adult roosters,average body weight(2. 6 0. 2) kg,were randomly allocated into 9 groups with 5 replicates per treatment in this experiment,A 2 × 9 Youden Square design was carried out for two periods metabolism experiment to determine the ME of 8 DDGS from different sources in China by starvation method. Results as follow: the range of the 8 DDGS AME is 8. 06－11. 03 MJ /kg,The apparent digestibility of GE,CP,EE and dry matter digestibility are in high correlation with TME. The results indicate that the variation of DDGS energy on Roosters in a plant but different batches is lower than different plants. The DDGS TME on Roosters can be estimated by determining their CP and EE.
