Abstract: Flavonoids of Sophora flavescens were extracted with solvent extraction on mycelial growth of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.cucumerinum,disease resisting effect and resistance physiology with different concentrations were studied. The results showed that all the concentrations(0.25,0.5,1,2,4 g/L) of flavonoids of Sophora flavescens restrained the mycelial growth of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.cucumerinum,and the stimulative rates were enhanced with the increased concentration. As the concentration of flavonoids was 4 g/L,the inhibition rate was 93.08%.In the therapeutic trail, plants have the biggest promtion by 60 g/L flavonoidswhich results indicated that chlorophyll content, root activity, superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity, peroxidase(POD) activity and phenylalanine ammonia-lyase(PAL) activity were increased 17.79%,71.55%,48.20%,123.80%,151.48 %comparing with control.Malondialdehyde(MDA) content and relative conductivity declined 62.33%and 71.14%comparing with control. The results of the prevention trail indicated that flavonoids of Sophora flavescens enhanced the disease resistance of cucumber at all the concentrations, and the best effect present in 80 g/L.
