Abstract: Under man-made water stress, study on drought tolerance of four bermudagrass varieties was carried out in the established turf. The results showed that: under the stress of continuous drought, the relative water content of leaves and the rate of the green parts of leaves had a descending trend, while the content of the free proline and the malondialdehye increased. The sequence of drought tolerance of the four Bermudagrass varieties was: C3, C1> A3> A5.
