Abstract: This article analyzes germination of eggplant seeds and physiological metabolism of seedlings by high voltage electrostatic field (HVEF) in order to find the optimal treatment dosage of high electrostatic field. The results showed that germination, seedlings growth and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity were increased and the leakage rate of electrolytes were decreased in different degree, respectively. The optimum efficient treatment dosage for germination is 359 kV/m 12 min, the optimum efficient treatment dosage for seedling growth is 359 kV/m×4 min. The best efficient dosage for germination and seedling is 359 kV/m×12 min.
