Abstract: The fermented material was maize stem dust adjusting 60% of water content in the total materials and the fennenting containers were 60cm x 40cm x 40cm boxes made by expanded polystyrene in this experiment. The influence of carbon/nitrogen(C/N),different nitrogen resources and ratios, temperature ranges of ventilation and quantities of Effective Micro-organism(EM) on temperature of hot fermentation were determined. The results showed that C/N 30:1 was a good treatment respectively which temperature increased fast than that the others at the early stage of the fermentation and the period of time at the high temperature was longer. The temperature increasing rate of the treatment with nitrogen resource of urea+ammonium sulfate+dry manure of chicken was the most fast treatment among the 5 treatments. The high temperature of fermentation could be kept for a long period of time by ventilating with the temperature ranges of 55-60℃.There was an increasing effect to the temperature of fermentation at the early stage and the most high temperature was near to the contrast by adding the EM into the materials.
