Abstract: Thirty F 1 were made using five high fiber strength strains and six insect resistant strains with NCⅡ mating method.Their yield properties were analyzed. The result showed that the hybrid heterosis of the F 1 were obvious.Of the 4 characters, the heterosis of the seed cotton yield and lint yield were the most obvious and the boll weight and bolls/plant were the second.Path analysis indicated that bolls/plant countributed the most to lint yield. In general combining ability(GCA),9208007Ⅲlong 16952 and 9208007Ⅲlong 22 were high in the high fiber strength strains, while CCR 3 and CCR 4 were high in the insect resistant strains.9208007Ⅰ>long 5 ×CCR 3 and 9208007Ⅲlong 22 ×CCR 3 were good combinations with high lint yield and fiber qualities.
