Correlation Analysis Between Main Agronomical Traits of Mungbean

Abstract

Abstract: The coefficient of variability of main agronomical traits was estimated with 739 mungbean germplasm as experimented materials,and the correlation analysis was made between these traits The results showed that the number of pods per plant has higher coefficient of variability and is significantly positive correlated with the yield per plant In breeding programme good lines can be obtained through indirect selection in field with the number of pods per plant as target traits.
