A RESEARCH ON BIOMASS AND PRODUCTION OF LARIX DAHURICA FOREST COMMUNITIES

Abstract

Abstract: The paper is a reseach of plant biomass and production of 27-age artificial forest of Larix omelini(Rupr)Rupr.(L.dahurica)at elevation of 800 min Greater Khingan mauntains.The following regression equations were derived from the standing crop of the destructive trees:Ws=0.0437(D2 H)0.9781Wba=0.0593(D2 H)0.4197Wl=0.0317(D2 H)0.4017Wbr=0.08813(D2 H)0.2237Wr=0.0688(D2 H)0.7917The estimated total biomass of L.dahurica forest community is 121.36 t/ha,net production is 4.4995t/(ha.yr).
