Studies about Bacillus thuringiensis Strain Containing New cry Gene

Abstract

Abstract: A high toxicity Bacillus thuriugieusis(Bt) strain XPZ against Lepidoptera pests was isolated andstudied further. The strain formed the bipyramidal crystal and spherical crystal observed by optical microscope. SDS-PAGE analysis revealed molecular weight of insecticidal crystal protein in this strain was 70 kDa. By using of PCR-RFLP identification methodnew crylAh gene was found in this strain.
