Abstract: Fusarium wilt(Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.cucumerinum Owen.) is one of major diseases that cause significant disease losses in cucumber. It is significant to explore the disease resistance molecular mechanism against Fusarium wilt race 4 in cucumber breeding. The cucumber resistant line Cu14 were employed for studying on resistant genes expressing against Fusarium wilt by differential display reverse transcriptase PCR(DDRT-PCR) method. One fragment of cDNA expressed specially was got from the root-stem inoculated in cucumber, and was named as A178-2 with the size of 328 bp.Blast analysis showed that 145 bp nucleotide sequences of A178-2 was homologous with the generic grain protein in Arabidopsis and reached 85%.Further studying on expression of the gene will be done.
