Abstract: Some research reports from foreign countries showed that EPNs from the families of Steinernematidae and Heterorhabditidae as biological control agents are not only searching host actively, infecting insect pests effectively, but also suppressing PPNs efficaciously. In the study we found that some nematode isolations from Rhabditis (Oscheius) have also the effect of suppression on PPNs. There is few reports related to this field. For the convenience of research and information citation to Chinese nematologists and other related scientists, the insectivorous nematodes suppression to PPNs, the influence factors to the suppression and the significance for the research were reviewed in this report, as reference.
