Abstract:
Magadha yangia Wang et Huang n. sp. Body length 5mm, wing-expand 16mm. Head and thorax ochraceous, frons nearly oblong and with a middle carina, the lateral margins concave and with a fuscous streak near the base, clypeus with three carinae, rostrum slender and long,reach coxa of posterior legs, eyes fuscous, cycle-shape, anternna short and thick, ochraceous,lateral ocelli red-brown. Prothorax and mesothorax with three longitudinal carinae, middleposterior region of the mesothorax with a black-rown square large spot, anterior margin nearly truncated, posterior-lateral margin obscure or surpass lateral carinae. Abdomen castaneous.Forewings grey-brown, light hyaline and scattered many variety or grey-brown speckles, veins with many dark-speckles, outer margin light dark and veins light, wings grey-brown. Legs ochroceous. This new species is similar to M. flavisigna distant, but may be distinguished by the fuscous streak of the frons. Holotype: I Sichuan prov. Emei mountains. Wang Sizheng collected, 1981 - Vll - 8.
