Deseription of Three New Species of the Achilidae from China (Homoptera: Achilidae)

Abstract: Three new species of Achilidae collected from China are reported in this paper. All the specimens are preserved in the insect collection room of Shi-jiazhuang Pomology Institute.1 . Catonidia tibetensis Wang et Huang, n. sp.This species somewhat resembles C.sobrina in appearance, but may be distinguished by the colour and two dark brown spots of anterior field of tergmina. Holotype: 1? , Tibet(Lingzhi,3500m),Li Fasheng collected it,1978-8-3.2 . Catonidia guadunensis Wang et Huang, n. sp.This species is similar to C.fujianensis , but may be distinguished by the truncation of anterion field of pronotum and the colour of tergmina.Holotype, 1?, Fujian prov., Wuyi mountains, Guadun , Wang Sizheng collected it from Chinese olive, 1984-Ⅶ-09.3 . Catonidia emeiensis Wang et Huang, n. sp.This species is similar to C. anhuiensis, but may be distinguished by the shape of face and streak of tergmina.Holotype: l?, Sichuan prov., Emei mountains. Wang Sizheng and Wang Tao collected it from loguat, 1985-Ⅶ-26.
