FAUNA OF SOIL INSECT IN HEBEI PROVINCE

Abstract

Abstract: From 1979 to 1983, authors investagated geographical distribution and injury of soil insect in 54 counties of Hebei.60 species were appraised from a lot of insects such as Scavabeidae 50, Elateridae 4,Grylltalpidae 2, Tenebrionidae 2,Cydnidae and etc.Distri-bution of Pests and degree of harm are shown by the investagation.According to ecological condition and agricultural peculiarity the whole Proivnce is divided into six natural areas, which have its dominant pests. At present, soil insect trends that,grubs (Holotrichia oblita, Holotrichia morosa, Anomala corpul erta)is very serius and wire worm (Agriot es fuscollis) is developping in some areas, but mole cricket (Gryllotalpa unispina), for example, is reducing.Authors suggest that the low-lying plain area is to be still important control area: in wheat field Holotrichia oblita, Agriotes fuscollis, in corn field Holotrichia oblita, Anomala exoleta etc,in peanut field Holotrichia morosa, Holotrichia oblita, Anomala corpulenta
