Comparison of Available Phosphorus Accumulation in Soils of Fields Planted Medicinal Plants and Grain Crops in Anguo City

Abstract: Soil available phosphorus accumulation in soils of fields planted medicinal plants and grain crops in Anguo city was investigated and compared by field sampling and chemical analysis .The results showed that average content of available phosphorus in 0一20,20一40,40一60,0一60 em of soil layers of herbal fields were 36. 43,16.099. 05,20. 54 mg /kg. In addition,average content of available phosphorus in the same layer of grain fields,were 22. 23,12.19 7.82,13.98 mg/kg. The test results indicated that available phosphorus in 0一20 cm soil layer of herbal fields were significantly higher than grain fields. However,the differences were not significant between the herbal and grain fields in 20一40 40一60,0一60 em of soil layers. In conclusion,nowadays,the content of available phosphorus in 0一20 20一40 40一60 em of soil layers were reduce as the soil layers were deepen. The content of available phosphorus in herbal fields were significantly higher than grain fields.
