Abstract: "To accelerate the new flue-cured tobacco variety YH05 commercial release, the effect of nitrogen application rate and different nitrogen forms ratio to chemical components of YH05 leaves was investigated by the methods of experiment in the field. The results showed that chemical components in leaves were affected by nitrogen application rate, different nitrogen forms ratio and the interaction of them.Nitrogen application rate was the main influence factor on both carbon metabolism and nitrogen metabolism, and which had extremely remarkable effect on the content of nicotine, total sugar, reducing sugar and sugar/nicotine ratio. But nitrogen forms ratio and the interaction of them affect the nitrogen metabolism of upper leaves, also affect carbon metabolism of cutters and lower leaves.According to the content of nicotine in leaves,We clearly indicated that YH05 should be used as accessories in cigarette industry.
