The Water Extracting Solution of Eupatorium adenophorum Leaves Influence on Seed Germination and Seedling Growth of Zea mays

Abstract: The influences of Eupatorium adenophorum leaves water extracting solution to the seed germination and seedling growth of Zea mays had been studied by using the bioassay test method in this paper. Results showed that 2. 5% Eupatorium adenophorum leaves water extracting solution have strong inhibition to the seed germination rate,fresh weight,length of radicle and germ of Zea myas. The inhibition effects almost disappear when the extracting solution concentration reduced to 0. 25%. Meanwhile,this experiment also researched the relationship between the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) and the concentration ofEupatorium adenophorum leaves water extracting solution,the results showed that the content of malondialdehyde (MDA) will increase as the concentration of Eupatorium adenophorum leaves water extracting solution increases and the relationship is linear.
